Event Description:

As the spring season settles in, so do our feathered friends! We will practice using binoculars and learn important tips on bird identification. Then go on a 1-mile hike to discover where you are most likely to find our migrating and resident birds. You never know what we will run into or see hunting above the clouds! We highly recommend you bring your own binoculars and bird guide. Park entrance fee and pre-registration required, call 303-425-1097 or visit

All ages (children under 8, must be accompanied by an adult). Free. Class is limited to 15 spaces.

What to Bring: Wear appropriate clothing for the weather, sunscreen, and bring water and binoculars.

Location Details: The program will begin at the nature center, located at 9785 Eagle View Loop. The park is located at 100th Ave and Simms St., northwest side of the City of Westminster.
