American Pharmacists Association- Academy of Student Pharmacists

We are the student chapter of the American Pharmacists Association at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. As an organization, we plan and participate in health fairs in the Denver Metro area delivering services such as flu shots, blood glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, and DEXA scanning for bone density.

We would like to participate in NGOD as a parter to further our outreach to the Denver community. Last year, members from our organization had a table focused on providing education about brain chemicals that are released during exercise and the benefits of being active. This year, we would either like to have a table geared toward a similar message or to have a focus on education about combatting and managing outdoor allergy symptoms.
